Swim Tampa Aquatics has been such a wonderful experience for my son. He started with private lessons with Coach Jamie and now continues developing his skills with Coach Myah. The coaches are patient, professional, and encouraging. They focus on technique, steady improvement, and organize swim meets that give kids the chance to compete, challenge themselves, and celebrate progress. Swim Tampa Aquatics is a fantastic organization and we quickly felt at home here. Both of my children swim with Swim Tampa and they both enjoy going to swim every week! There are many class options to fit our schedule and even when the weather doesn’t cooperate, the kids love doing dry lands practice. Swim Tampa Aquatics has been a wonderful gift to our family. Coach Scott is personally committed to the development of each and every kid on the team, and has shown willingness to make himself available after hours, in phone calls, and with individual coaching. Scott encourages the kids to believe in their potential, act with integrity, and follow through on whatever level of commitment they've made to swimming. The fruits of those lessons go far beyond swimming. Two memories I have that stand out to me - when we had ESL kids just starting out on the team, Scott found a way to play instructions in Spanish as well as English. I loved hearing it, knowing that he was determined to make the environment as welcoming and effective as he could. On another occasion, one kid on the team was going through a rough time. Scott took me aside in the parking lot and asked if my child could reach out to her, to help her to feel connected. Coach Scott has checked in with me many times throughout the years to see if we are happy with our child's development, and if there's anything we'd like to focus on. I really appreciate his willingness to listen. Being a part of STA has offered much more than exercise or a hobby to our child. It's offered community, friendship, and personal growth. Thank you.

Swim Tampa Aquatics has been absolutely wonderful for our daughter and for our whole family! I grew up swimming in Tampa and fully understand the profound impact an excellent coach can have not only on your swimming journey but also on person you become. The coaches at Swim Tampa Aquatics are the best I have ever experienced and they truly care and invest in every single swimmer no matter what level they are swimming. Swim Tampa Aquatics have many kids that compete on a national level and go onto to swim in University but each coach invests just as much into the kids that just want to be part of a team and have fun learning this amazing sport! The coaches make sure that each new and existing swimmer feels welcome and included in a way I have never witnessed anywhere else. Coach Scott plans the best social activities for the kids like movie nights at the pool, bowling and so much more! I also want to say a few words about the amazing kids that swim for Swim Tampa Aquatics, besides having some of the fastest swimmers in the Bay Area, what is more important is their character. Kindness and sportsmanship is the culture at STA. The kids are encouraged to celebrate and cheer on their team mates no matter what level they the are competing. My daughter will never be the fastest kid on the team but she is treated like a super star by both her faster team mates and the all of the coaches at Swim Tampa Aquatics. We are so fortunate to be a part of the STA family. If you are looking for a team for your kids, you will not regret STA!
