Powered by GoogleMy children LOVE the coaches and team here! Everyone is thoughtful, encouraging, and kind. We also had their birthday party at the gym and it was the GREATEST experience! All the kiddos had a blast with multiple options for activities and we didn't have to think of anything, allowing us to be present and enjoy the party with our kids. The team decorated, had super yummy pizza, and catered to all our needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
A great activities center, many good classes, happy and engaging instructors. They offer karate, ninja, dance and gymnastics.
We had a bad experience with one Instructor called McKenzie she was are very unprofessional! She picked favorites and would totally ignore my child all the time every class. At the end of the class they give the kids stickers or stamps. Today on the way out my daughter gave her both hands to stamp and she said out loud " MY ODC CHILDREN". Vert disrespectful and uncalled for. I mean she was referring to a two year old. While attending the classes she would call kids weirdos. She would also ignore some kids and only give attention to certain ones. This is not a professional! My oldest daughter did gymnastics somewhere else for over 8 years I have never encountered something like this before. We will obviously not be returning.
We have been enjoying the Sweet Peas program for a little over six months and couldn’t be happier! The instructor(s) are a knowledgeable safe space for parents with developing children and the environment is stimulating and engaging for my toddler age child. We look forward to attending classes weekly and the front desk staff are always warm and welcoming no matter the time of day or week.
We have been going to Sterling Gymnastics for a few years. We participate in both Ninja and Gymnastics classes and camps. All our experiences with the staff and operation have been organized, friendly and professional. We have been most impressed that the coaches are grown-ups with content training as well as teacher-training. Every coach knows the students' names as well as strengths and areas needing growth. Students are praised and supported and constructively taught skills. The pacing of the programs is well-planned and executed purposefully. The actual facility has lots of places catering to waiting guardians with different needs - there are places for adults to work quietly and/or watch their children, as well as places to socialize with other parents and even a place to help entertain little siblings tagging along. The front office staff and the management staff are top notch. They also know the students names and/or faces (there are a LOT of them to keep track of)! They are super friendly, helpful and understanding of families trying to juggle it all. Financially, the prices seem comparable and totally worth the experience and training students receive. Finally, there are opportunities to purchase themed merchandise and candy/snacks for the kids - initially, I was worried about this marketing technique, but my experience has been that the students are never pushed into spending any extra money. It's there if we need it only, which is a convenience, not a nuisance! In conclusion, I HIGHLY recommend Sterling Academy. We have been to 5 other local gymnastics/dance operations prior to joining Sterling and it is, hands-down, the best!
