STARBASE Sacramento is a Department of Defense–funded STEM nonprofit that offers summer programs for youth, including a Tech Camp (engineering and robotics with a 'battle bot' arena and build-your-own-robot projects) and science programs in forensics, geology and chemistry. Its core mission focuses on inspiring students (traditionally 5th graders) in science, technology, engineering and math; summer camps are hands-on and team-based.
