DcodeSTEM runs a full-day summer camp at its Folsom studio, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, with each day split between a math class, a programming class and chess. Week-long June sessions cover introduction to Java programming, mental math and chess games, and building circuits with logic gates. Enrollment is capped at six students and the camp is open to ages 8 to 11; the center also runs instructor-led and self-paced coding and music classes year-round.
