The Stamford JCC runs an 8-week Jewish community day camp for children from age 3 through the teen CIT program on its Newfield Avenue campus. Programs are grouped by age, from half-day preschool camp up to full-day traditional camp (9am–4pm) with swimming, sports, arts, and specialty options; extended care runs 7:30am–6pm. Families can enroll for 2 to 8 weeks.

However, after joining the JCC and getting to know all of the wonderful people, it soon became our saving grace. I've never felt so welcomed anywhere else. Everyone has been so nice. You can tell the JCC cares about its members and has been constantly renovating and updating its facilities -- very important.
