Southold Yacht Club's Junior Sailing Program teaches children ages 7-17 on the North Fork, with classes across the club's Optimist, Sunfish, C420 and Laser fleets at varied levels plus an introductory land-based First Mates class; the club describes offerings spanning ages 5 through 18. Located on a open sandy beach next to the Goose Creek Town Beach. The programs are set by age group and the kids get to learn sailing skills from a group of instructors.
