My son got punished for flipping his boat, because the instructor in the boat peed in it and made them flip it to wash it out. He was fired when we brought it up the next day, but we absolutely will not return

My daughters just finished their first week ever at Schooner Camp. They loved it! Each time I picked them up they were super excited to tell me about their day. They made me promise to sign them up again next year. I got to meet one counselor and my husband met others during drop off. All were very professional, nice and enthusiastic. Great experience!

Between exploring marine life, learning about navigation and firing cannons (pretty sure these were blanks) at other vessels, Schooner Summer Camp was my dream come true as a child. After 10 years I recently revisited for a sunset sail and wasn't disappointed with the night. Wine cheese and relaxation is a great way to spend an evening (though unfortunately no spider crabs). I recommend Schooner for everyone 6 - 106!

My daughter loves this camp! The half-day of sailing, half-day on the beach/marsh was a great combination for her and really captivated her interest. The staff are very enthusiastic and genuinely enjoy being with the kids!

I've heard so many positive things about the camp from previous participants. It's had a huge impact on so many people in the New Haven area over the years. The excitement kids have for sailing, the interest they develop in marine biology and the environment, and the health benefits of spending a week outdoors on the coast are immeasurable!
