Bushy Hill Day Camp is a nature-based, tech-free day camp for ages 4 to 15 on more than 700 acres at the Incarnation Center in Ivoryton, near Deep River. Campers hike miles of trails, swim in a private spring-fed lake, visit a working farm and tackle a ropes course across five two-week sessions. Days run to 5pm with morning and afternoon care available.

★★★AmberBeautiful grounds for playing, but both of my children were disappointed with the events here. My daughter had done a ropes course a few before at other places, so she was extremely disappointed by the low 'ropes' course. I stayed with the younger children to observe the team building games-- the instructor seemed very unfamiliar with working with little kids, didn't give them any pauses or other activities to break up the monotony, and didn't communicate well with parents. My kids both expressed relief that the event was over so they could freeplay on the grounds.

We were told all kinds of good info. about it. Not only that, but they had several other animals we were shown. It was a good experience. As to any recommendations, the only things I can think of are if your child is going to see an animal for the 1st time, let them know to give us a minute before explaining things about the animal so the child may enjoy seeing the animal undistracted, but otherwise it can be really great to have someone w/so much knowledge around to give a tour. And, the other thing is if they had change for a larger bill, it would make it easier to give the exact donation one would like to give. Anyway, great experience and I recommend others go there, too!
