I had an absolutely incredible experience at the Sag Harbor Sailing summer course! Mark, our instructor, is an exceptional person who truly cares about his students' progress and enjoyment. His dedication and passion for sailing were evident throughout the entire course. He taught us with the utmost patience and encouragement, making each lesson a fun and enriching experience. The course itself was well-structured and comprehensive, covering everything from basic sailing techniques to more advanced maneuvers. Mark's patience and understanding made the learning process enjoyable and stress-free. This is the perfect activity to do while visiting or living in the Hamptons. The bays are stunning and seeing this place from a new perspective is something many people miss out on. Sag Harbor Sailing is a great team of passionate sailors. They've been renting and teaching at this location for over 2 decades and have it dialed in. Their boats are in great shape and offer a nice variety of time slots and even overnight rentals for some of the larger boats. I used to own a sail boat in the area, but now only come back to visit occasionally, but every time I come back I make it a point to get my sailing fix.

From the very beginning it was a great experience with Sag harbor Sailing. We walked in the office to check in and the staff were really pleasant from the beginning and everything was running on time. I even forgot to bring a jacket and they lent me one to use on the boat. Our instructor Paul was a really nice guy and incredibly knowledgable about sailing. As a self taught instructor he was a great resource to ask the beginner's questions. Even though it was a rough day on the water, my partner and I felt very comfortable sailing with Paul. He did a great job explaining things ahead of time to where learning how to do everything during the rough parts was easy. I felt like the excursion was well worth the money and it was fun talking with Paul while trying out some of the maneuvers.

We stayed the night on and sailed the 1984 Catalina 34ft sloop. Accommodations were minimal but adequate. The boat is older but easy and fun to sail. They helped us with a good float plan and it was a great experience.
