Groton Long Point Yacht Club runs a summer junior sailing program that functions much like a sailing camp. Its Seashell Sailing introduces beginners ages 5 and up to core skills in a protected cove, while the Junior Sailing program serves intermediate sailors ages 9–15 across Optimist and 420 racing fleets (420 sailors must be at least 11).

I've been going to Groton Long point since I was a teenager and I was troubled to see all the homes for sale.... Mainly because I still can't afford it LOL

I went fishing out of Baberry lane state boat launch. Nice day plenty of schoolie stripers.

Probably the best place in the world for you and your children! Beaches are very clean and lifeguards are all over. Been visiting here for over 20 years, now I bring my children! Absolutely love it here!
