Groton Long Point Yacht Club runs a summer junior sailing program that functions much like a sailing camp. Its Seashell Sailing introduces beginners ages 5 and up to core skills in a protected cove, while the Junior Sailing program serves intermediate sailors ages 9–15 across Optimist and 420 racing fleets (420 sailors must be at least 11).
