Wickford Yacht Club in North Kingstown partners with the Wickford Sailing Association to run a summer youth sailing program on Narragansett Bay. Classes run daily from 9am to 4pm from late June through mid-August across levels from Minnows and Beginners to Opti racing and 420s; the Beginners class serves ages 7.5 to 14, with older levels extending the range. A scholarship program supports families for whom cost is a burden.
