Camp Watchaug is a traditional YMCA day camp on a 30-acre waterfront property on Watchaug Pond in Charlestown, serving ages 4-16. Campers swim, canoe, kayak, sail, climb, do archery, and use high and low ropes courses, with specialty tracks in Lego, water sports, animals, gymnastics, and drama. Run by YMCA Ocean Community, it is ACA-accredited with financial assistance available.

Younger kids will definitely be tired by the end of the day and I've seen numerous older kids happy but dragging feet by the end as well. The water activities are awesome and include a water playground island thing a little ways off shore. The staff is highly trained and focused on the safety and happiness of the kids at all times. My kids loved it but highly recommend sending kids with sunscreen and bug spray.
