Summer juniors tennis programme at the South Yarmouth Tennis Club, a member-operated nonprofit club on Cape Cod with six clay courts, running Monday June 22 to Friday August 14. Sessions are one hour daily rather than a full camp day: beginners ages 5–8 and beginner/intermediate ages 9–14 each have 1:00–2:00pm and 2:00–3:00pm slots, and juniors are grouped by age (5–8, 9–14, 14 and up) and skill level for drills and games covering forehands, backhands, volleys, overheads and serves. Families choose five days a week ($125/week), Monday/Wednesday/Friday ($75/week) or Tuesday/Thursday ($50/week), in four- or eight-week blocks, with $25 drop-in sessions. The neighbouring Bass River Yacht Club coordinates its morning sailing school so sailors can be walked over after a supervised lunch for the 1pm tennis lesson.

My experience here has been excellent. There are over 20 guys that play at or over the 4.0 level. There is as much competitive singles and doubles you would want. The club is also very nice; great people, friendly & welcoming. The setting is great for tennis. You are surrounded by pines, oaks, and maples. Also, the clay courts are in incredible shape. I feel great about my choice to Join SYTC, and look forward to many great years to come. This is the best summer tennis club you are going to find on the Cape. I’m really glad I found it!
