If you're looking for quality training, this is the place! The coaches are knowledgable, friendly, and have the best interests of your child in mind. Been going for over a year, and my daughter's development has been noticeable.

I coach a lot of athletes in multiple sports so I have been exposed to many different programs, both group and one-on-one. Salient touch futbol is the number one sports training program I have encountered. The structured/leveling approach is brilliant. My daughter has grown so much as an athlete and her confidence has increased exponentially. The training at Salient is holistic, meaning it trains physically, mentally and spiritually. I have seen her skills improve in basketball significantly as a result of this program. She hasn’t played volleyball on a team before but just made that team. The differentiating factors were lots of hip action for power developed at salient and the confidence I said earlier. Great program!

The training seems to be of value, but their other business & service models could use a lot of work. It would be nice if the business actually showed and/or described what the level progressions of the athletes were. The term "Foundational" let's you somewhat guess that is the lowest level, but "essentials" could also be the lowest level. And these terms: "transition" "essentials" "emerging"... are all mostly arbitrary that don't mean anything to the customer. There is also no indication of how long a typical athlete spend at each level, a week, 6 months, 2 years? Every athlete is different, but they have to have something in mind. They may have some mystical mental map of these athlete progressions in their own heads, but they do little to help explain it to outsiders. It would also be beneficial if they actually offered what customers are looking for. Some specialties are offered for certain levels, other specialty trainings no. There is a striking class for everyone, but it seems nobody needs to learn defending until they are more advanced. Strange.

These guys (and girls!) are the best in the business at what they do! As a coach and director of another sport, I sought out the right people for my own daughter in helping her with her foundational skills she needs in order to grow in the sport. All it took was one session to know this was the place we were looking for and to see where she is from where she was has been nothing short of amazing journey. She loves going every week and practices at the house to make sure she’s prepared for the following session! “The proof is in the pudding” as they say!

We’ve had a great experience at Salient. My son has taken the foundational classes for a few months plus the summer camp and his footwork has improved so much. His req coaches noticed the improvement at the first practice of this new season and my son felt so proud. Before the season started, he told me that he wanted to see if his coaches will notice that he trained during the off season. And they did notice right away, thanks to Salient. All of the coaches are great. They work well with the kiddos. I think they are great role models and mentors for the kiddos. We’re taking a short break due to a hectic schedule but we’ll be back to Salient in January.
