Sailing Education Adventures · Private
Sailing Education Adventures (SEA) is a nonprofit community sailing organization founded in 1976 that runs youth summer camps out of Marin Yacht Club in San Rafael, teaching children ages 8 to 17 to sail 12- to 14-foot boats on San Francisco Bay alongside boat safety and seamanship. Basic and Intermediate camps for ages 11 to 16 run two weeks, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with four sessions from June through August. The Mini camp for ages 8 to 10 is a one-week half-day introduction for children new to sailing, offered every other week in June and July. Scholarships are available for most sessions, and full sessions keep a waitlist.
