Mike at the desk is awesome. Im.sure the other staff are as well, we just had the pleasure of talking with Mike. The lounge- is comfortable and clean, plenty of games and a big TV. Nice spot to wait for the laundry. FREE laundry- 3 washers and 3 dryers, 1 load per family at a time, clean and everything works just fine. Bathrooms- are gen pop, 2 stalls and the then a curtain to separate the showers but its all open. Again everything is well maintained and clean. Camp spots- level pads, no cracks or nonsense to deal with there, very easy to set up and every site is pull through. Located- next to the commissary and PX, the dog park is massive and very close by. Its a really nice spot for an easy bike ride around post and the gym is directly caddy corner across the parking lot. Enter- through the lightning gate but go straight around the dog park to the stop sign by the gas station, turn right and then left into the campground. If you make that first right towards the campground the speed bumps in front of the school will get ya. Overall, wonderful spot, conveniently located, safe and secure location, clean, well taken care of and nice spot to stay.

Great concrete level spots. Water, sewer and electric close by. New plastic picnic tables and grills outside the door. Clean bathrooms and free laundry. Friendly, helpful staff. I hope you like the sound of freedom bc there is a lot here, F-22 style. We'd definitely stay again!

1. Park Quality - Overall, this park is excellent.Clean and well maintained with friendly helpful staff. Laundry is free but could use another washer/dryer or two. (Might have just been my timing but every time I went, I needed to wait for an open washer) 2. Sites - All sites are pull-through concrete pads that are level. Each site had a picnic table and charcoal grill. Neighbors were a little close but it certainly could have been worse. Utilities were good with the exception of hard water. 3. Location - Base location is awesome. The commissary and BX are right next door, a 5 min walk. Just outside the base are plenty of restaurants and other activities. Highly recommend checking out White Tank Regional Park, great hiking. 4. Noise - Noise was an issue. Not only the daily flights of jets training (which I’m fine with and expect) but, Glendale Blvd and Litchfield Rd provided an over abundance of road noise. Then there was Lucie’s Sage and Sand Bar Grill that provided regular loud live music. 5. Cell Service - Verizon was three bars of 5G 6. Wifi - Park WiFi was 16 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up.Starlink 161 Mbps down and 27 Mbps up. 7. Rates - The $40 a day seems very reasonable for the location. I do not believe they offer any discount for extended stays 8. Access - You need to be qualified to access a military installation and required RV reservation. 9. Dog Friendliness - This is another park where my pup didn’t experience any type of thorns. There were some in the surrounding areas but none in the park itself. There is a nice size dog park a five minute walk from the park and it’s well maintained and clean. I will say that the park itself offers no real area for dogs to do their business, so you’ll need to walk them just outside the front entrance or out the back. Not a huge inconvenience but something in the park would have been nice. The surrounding area is very walkable with wide sidewalks. Wrapping it up. Saguaro Skies is an awesome park and really is a great place to escape the winter.

We were passing through and tried calling ahead but couldn’t get through on the phone, so we stopped by anyway and got lucky. When we arrived there were two open day-use spots, one was assigned (but never showed up) and another seemed to open up, so we grabbed it for the night. We checked in at the office the next morning to pay and everything was easy and straightforward. The staff was very friendly and the facilities were impressively clean. Quiet, convenient stop, we’d definitely stay again.

Pros: Host was great. Very nice RV camp ground. Clean, 2 year old new facility , restrooms, lounge area, washer & dryers free, located next to BX and Commissary and food court . Cons: Loud music from club on other side of base wall. Lights from BX and Commissary. No playground for kids or dog park.
