Overnight YMCA camp in the Prescott National Forest offering archery, paintball, canoeing, crafts, rock climbing on a 50-foot tower, a giant swing and horseback riding trails. One-week residential sessions run June through August, checking in Sunday and out Saturday, and families can book consecutive weeks; capacity is about 250 campers. Open to ages 7-16, with lodging in cabins, yurts, covered wagons and air-conditioned lodges. Operated by the nonprofit Valley of the Sun YMCA, which offers financial assistance for some programs.

★April PehlVery disappointing experience! I don't like leaving bad reviews but this was a doozy! Went to Sky Y Camp as a chaperone for my child's 6th grade end-of-year field trip. Every corner of the floor had rodent feces as well as on top of the shelving units attached to the bunk-beds. Asked three camp members to attend to it before someone attempted to clean it up. Discovered our group was in the only non-renovated cabin. Unlike the other cabins, the one we were in had peeling wood paneling and floor, As well as holes in the ceiling. During an activity, a pair of panties was spotted, while the children were climbing boulders. The girl running the activiy stated: "those have been there awhile". Overall it was just dirtier and dingier than what you would expect even for camping!
