My son has been using Emler for 1 year and has progressed so much with his swimming. Lots of flexible hours for lessons. My son has enjoyed every instructor! Highly recommend!

Safe Splash is the best! My kiddos now have the skills to be safe in the water. I don’t have to worry as much when we do fun summer activities. Thanks safesplash for putting the fun back in our summers!

If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. Unfortunately, the lowest rating allowed is one star. We discovered Safe Splash through an advertisement at LA Fitness, where we regularly go, and thought it would be convenient since it’s close to our home. Initially, we had a great experience—my son really enjoyed the first instructor he was assigned. However, things quickly went downhill. Not all teachers are equally committed. Within the first two months, we were reassigned to a different instructor who seemed completely disinterested. During our 30-minute sessions, he spent about a third of the time chatting with other staff instead of engaging with the kids. I wasn’t sure if it was just me, so I asked other parents nearby, and they shared the same concern. I raised the issue with the supervisor, but that interaction wasn’t any better. The supervisor was constantly on the phone, texting, or otherwise distracted—like he was juggling a dozen other things. I requested a change of instructor, ideally back to the one we started with. Fortunately, we were reassigned, and things improved for a bit. As winter approached, we decided swimming wasn’t as convenient anymore and tried to cancel the membership. That’s when the real trouble began. You can’t reach their customer service—calls go unanswered, and no one responds. We had to physically go to the facility to cancel, only to find no Safe Splash staff on site. An LA Fitness employee told us they should have been there but had no explanation. Apparently, there were changes in their management, but no communication was provided. Even attempts to cancel online were unsuccessful. We also tried changing the schedule at one point, which never went through. Meanwhile, they kept charging my credit card—month after month—until I finally had to close the card to stop the unauthorized charges. I could go on, but I’ll stop here. I’m leaving this review in the hope that someone from the company sees it and takes these issues seriously. Right now, this is simply bad business.

I have been taking swimming lessons with Coach Shelby and I can’t speak highly enough about her! She is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and has a natural ability to connect with children and adults. I strongly recommend her. Also my son has made amazing progress in swimming thanks to his incredible teacher, Coach Brady. Coach Brady has a unique ability to motivate and challenge while still making each lesson fun and engaging. His guidance has helped my son develop strong strokes, better speed.

Emily has an excellent swimming skill set. Both of my daughters are learning incredibly quickly under her guidance. My younger daughter started floating without any support on the very first day after Emily's initial instruction. Even Emily's daughter teaches my daughters so gracefully and safely, which is truly commendable. Emily's primary focus is to ensure all her students start swimming as soon as possible, rather than just extending the number of classes. She teaches her students multiple swimming skills in quick succession to facilitate faster learning. My wife is also going to start lessons with her this week. Our family feels fortunate to have connected with her as our swimming teacher. Highly recommend her. 🎉
