The Sacramento State Aquatic Center on Lake Natoma in Gold River runs youth boating summer camps for ages 7-17, teaching sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddling, and rowing along with water safety. Options range from a Basic boating camp to focused Sailing and Paddle camps and an advanced Adventure Camp (ages 13-17) with multi-sport days on the water. Operated as a national boating instruction and safety center.

They give you extra time to get into the water and then they start your time. Very reasonable prices and a very beautiful location! Definitely recommend coming during the weekday but even during the weekend they get you in the water pretty fast. They have many different types of kids groups there during the weekends. The only complaint is the signing in part, wish there was an easier way and a faster way.
