Little Whale Tumble School · Private
Little Whale Tumble School is a developmental gymnastics school on El Camino Avenue in Sacramento, and its Tumble Camp takes ages 3-6 who are fully independent with bathroom and changing. Camp runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00pm to 3:00pm in three-day themed sessions (Pirates & Mermaids, Teddy Bear Picnic, Super Heroes, Busy Builders, Hawaiian Luau), priced at $135 for enrolled students and $150 for non-enrolled, so it is an afternoon half-day program rather than full-day coverage. Powered by GoogleWe LOVE Little Whale Tumble. They have so many great programs between classes, camps, and open play. Teacher Bella has been wonderful at helping my little one gain confidence at trying new activities that she finds intimidating; Bella is fantastic at attuning to the kids and helping them gently stretch themselves to try new things. I appreciate that she checks in with my little one about how she is feeling about an activity and talks her through what to expect. Above all, the kids are always having a blast!
We are very grateful for this tumbling class. Our child loves coming each week! The instructor, Gabi is so kind and patient, and has been extremely supportive in meeting our child’s needs as well as providing new activities each time we come.
Little Whale Tumble School has been such a great addition to our routine. Avila has been going since they first opened, and it’s been awesome to watch her confidence and coordination grow over time. Gabby deserves a ton of credit. She brings such a fun, upbeat energy to every class and really knows how to connect with the kids. Avila lights up when she sees her, which says everything. Having tumble right next to swim has also been a game changer. The quick 5-minute transition makes it easy to stack both activities without turning it into a whole production.
They have an employee here named Anisa. She is the African-American woman who usually works the front desk and watches over the little ones while they are at play. Anisa is so kind and so friendly and she creates a wonderful atmosphere. I love bringing my children there just because she is present. Would definitely recommend this to any family in the area looking for a safe kind and fun place for their little ones to play at.
My 4 year old daughter has been going here for about 2 months; She loves it. Clean facility. Fair price. There is some structure, but not too serious and the kids do really have fun. Greatest parent experience though, happened last week. She struggled to climb the rope ladder, got frustrated, and gave up. But the instructor encouraged her to try again and to "believe in yourself." She tried again, and with some help, she did better than her first attempt. After class, my daughter told me in the car that sometimes when you give up, you have to try again and "believe in yourself, like Ms. Bella says." That deserves a review from me. Huge shout out to Ms. Bella for being awesome. Definitely building my daughter's confidence
