Powered by GoogleYesterday, my wife and three-year-old granddaughter went at 3 PM to go swimming and they said they had to wait till four. At four, they went in then were told to get out at 4:30. They were closing the pool.. YMCA staff told her that there will be no more swimming for her for the rest of the summer because the groups had the priority and members will not be able to swim there. The staff was very rude in their tone! It was totally an unpleasant experience! We will use our home YMCA at Mooresville North Carolina, which are super friendly courteous and accommodating !!!
We host our Double Dutch Club meetups at this location, and it’s been a great experience every time. The space is nice, and the gym area accommodates our group really well. YMCA locations always have a lot going on, and this one is no exception. There’s a great variety of activities, and the energy here really reflects that. We truly appreciate the opportunity to use the space and would absolutely recommend this location to anyone looking for a welcoming and versatile community spot.
Very judgmental people at the front. Just feel like I’m being watched even though I’m not joining the gym for me, I have to join since my daughter isn’t at the age to be by herself. Just feel like I’m talked at. Really didn’t want to join since I already have a membership elsewhere and will be cancelling in 3 months when my daughter is old enough to come by herself.
Two thumbs down. Gym is loud and cramped, with many kids crowding the equipment not doing anything. Don’t even try to go swimming here because it’s always occupied. Sauna and steam room are outdated, and are located on the pool deck where the hours are vastly different to the normal operating hours. Locker rooms are nice and clean. WiFi is basically non-existent.
This is a great YMCA facility. They have everything you would want for working out and programs. I used this facility while traveling on business. They have a great workout room upstairs that has a full weight room and dozens of cardio machines. The facility has a full gym, classrooms, indoor pool and game fields outside. Highly recommend.
