Chose to go here for swim lessons for my 22 month old and I was very impressed! The entire staff was so kind and welcoming. What I want to rave about the most was the swim instructors!! Every one we had was so knowledgeable and willing to help little guy learn to swim and get used to the water. Highly recommend for swim lessons for a little one!

Love gentle flow Yoga. Melissa and Jess are skillful leaders, each in their unique way. Facility is clean, well maintained, upgraded as needed.

We took our 2-year-old son here for swim class, and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Parents were asked to get in the water with their children, which was perfectly fine, but after that there was little to no instruction given. No one explained what we would be doing, what the goals of the class were, or how parents were supposed to help their child. My husband does not know how to swim, yet he got in the water with our son and had no idea what he was supposed to do because there was absolutely no guidance from the instructors. It honestly did not feel like a class at all. We were basically just standing in the water holding our children and wondering what the purpose was and this went on for 4 weeks. I even spoke with another parent there who had the same concerns and felt confused about what was going on. To make matters worse, when I spoke with management afterward, I was told similar concerns had already been observed previously, which was disappointing to hear. We spent our time expecting actual instruction and guidance for our child, but left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Based on our experience, we will not be returning.

Best gym, best people, best atmosphere. And it’s not just a gym! When you go there you’re part of a community where familiar faces greet you and support you. It’s the highlight of my day. You also see older members of the community who find friendship and support. It’s simply a great community which supports health and fitness for all levels.

I recently joined Roper YMCA. The staff is very friendly, and knowledgeable making the signing in process very efficient. I use the play center service for my daughters, the personnel make me feel like my little ones are in good hands. There are many clases, an a variety of equipment for working out. It is as usually busy without feeling crowded, which is probably what I like the most.
