★JamesonDissatisfaction with county services at Roger Carter today and poor response by staff: I had a class booked at Roger carter for my 2 year. Upon arrival, there was no on site parking, there was no garage parking and there was no street parking The front desk informed me the county was hosting an 85 person corporate training for target and recommended I park at the bottom of the hill in old town ellicot city and walk u On the street With a 2 year old Several other drivers had difficulty even navigating the parking lot and there was no disability parking available It is not acceptable to host for profit organizations at a community center at the cost of pre scheduled services, senior programs and neighborhood access.
★★Chris CowlesNice facility, nice staff. But be careful when you arrive. There’s a 30 minute break where you supposedly have to get out and repay $7 for another session. I don’t think we had to repay last time just sit out for break. Either the lifeguards didn’t enforce it or the board made a rule change. Not like our pool back home (not MD)

I also saw some senior citizens going through another entrance. They were most likely taking advantage of some of the other services available that would include the pool. A few years ago we used another space there for a baby shower. It's a very nice facility as far as I can see.

Staff is friendly and the facility is well maintained. I wish all the 50+ label would go away and become true, inclusive “Community Centers” like Roger Carter.
★★★Nau NazIt's a nice place, but parking can be an issue. There is garage parking but it's not that convenient. Center it self is also some time crowded. And employees don't take much interest in keeping up the facility, a lot of stuff is quite beaten up.
