Powered by GoogleThis place is amazing. Track section big enough to host a track and field event. Olympic size pool (currently under rehab). Family pool for, of course, families but also has room to do laps if you are considerate. Meeting rooms for events, of course $ for the reservation. Nominal entry fee. Tons of parking. Wonderful staff. The locker rooms are super, you'll need quarters to rent the lockers. You can bring all of your locker stuff out to the pool deck. Amazing place.
This is my happy place, I enjoy coming and walking every morning along with the other seniors. It’s a place of calming and peace. While you’re walking you can relax meditate. O recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and meditate.
I walked in to create an account and to inquire about the aquatic center. The employee I spoke with at the activities desk was very friendly and courteous making the process seamless and also I was able to take a tour of the facility. It’s a very big and decent facility with various activities such as the fitness center, indoor track, gymnastics and athletic fields. I haven’t used the pool yet but I still highly recommend. This facility is great. I used to go for the indoor pool which is nice but now my daughter attends the open gym tumbling drop-ins with Coach Wale. Sooo many people come to see him. His Coaching style is tough yet respectful. He seems to be very knowledgeable about his work, will give you his info and answer all questions. He also will push your kids which I love. He is very amusing as well. Drop-in days are Fridays 8:00 pm to 9pm and Sundays all groups 4pm to 5pm. Fee $15
I visited the Prince George's Sport Complex to run in Potomac Valley Masters Track and Field Championships. It was an extremely nice experience. People were very friendly and helpful and the facility was wonderful. Track surface was very good and reasonably fast and comfortable to run on. I took a tour around the building and everything was modern and good. They have a full size weight gym with both free we weights and machines, a beautiful aquatic area, gymnastics gym, basketball courts, meeting room's. All were open higher level observation area and high glass windows and also has a Cafe. Very enjoyable.
