Cathedral Commons Preschool is a CommuniKids language immersion school in Suite 200 at 3400 Idaho Ave in Northwest Washington, DC, one block from the National Cathedral, where native-speaking teachers work in Spanish or French with children ages 3 to 5. The full day runs from 8:30am to 3:00pm, with morning care from 8:00am and afternoon care until 6:00pm, and eligible DC residents may apply for free Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 places funded by OSSE. A school-year after-school program in Spanish and French serves Pre-K 4 through 2nd grade, with staff walking children from Hearst Elementary School, and a summer camp for ages 3 to 6 is offered by the week. The program is licensed by DC OSSE and accredited by NAEYC.
