Robot Revolution teaches competitive robotics to students in grades 3-12 from a center at 34 Maple Street in Summit, and has taught over 6,000 students in 15 years. Its summer camp is a two-week half-day program in which new students in grades 4-8 design, build and program a VEX IQ robot, finishing with a Grand Challenge competition; half-day and full-day scheduling options are offered. Year-round classes and competition teams continue outside summer, and the program's teams have produced New Jersey state champions every year since 2013.

The teachers and staff are always helpful and ready to jump in and assist, but with a fine balance to allow students to figure things out themselves, and develop critical thinking skills on their own and as a team. As such, students learn much more than coding and robotics here. Team work, project / time management, and yes sometimes working under pressure (around competition time) are all part of daily life. Last but not least, the club has an excellent success rate of having teams qualify for VEX States and World championships. We highly recommend Robot Revolution and the team (Davin, Josh and co. ) and wish them continued success!

Their fall competition season is great every time and the peope will always help you but make sure you are challegned. Their cirriculams for when its not the competition season are great. Jarrad writes most of them. They'll teach you to code, build, strategize, and everything else you'll need to know. When you eventually get into 7th grade they'll teach you c++ and in eighth grade you start metal robots or Vex V5. If not for Robot Revolution I would jump off a bridge and kill my self. You may think that doing the program at your child school would be better but I promise it won't. While some schools offer the program for competition season they will not have as big of a budget, and as much room to house many teams. Robot Revolution has 10s of teams in metal robotics and hundred in IQ robotics. They will be much better than a school
