I wanted to extend my sincere thanks to the head counselor on 11/7 who took care of my daughter after she spilled a drink on her leggins and bought her a change. Thank you for going above and beyond and making sure my kids had a great day! You guys are amazing!

My daughter loved her time this summer at Steve and Kate’s Camp! She had the best experience possible with the staff, facility and the other campers. Drop off and pick up were a breeze! Best day camp experience ever!

Our kids love it so far! It’s been a couple of days already this summer and they’ve told us it’s the best camp they’ve been to (they’re normally at camp in Brooklyn). They’re able to do their own thing (under supervision) and do activities at their own pace. They’re well fed and are excited to go each morning. Only complaint from the kids so far has been the boys bathrooms smell and our eldest is 11 and said she is the oldest there. The staff is also extremely communicative if anything goes wrong— our son fell and got a scrape on his knee and they immediately called just for awareness.

My grandson didn't want to go, he was hesitant and resistant every time, later I understood why. The Camp was extremely disorganized. Chaotic is the right word. Book bags all over the hallways causing tripping hazards, kids running up and down hallways, kids crying and being ignored. A counselor was taunting a chubby child, who was crying hysterically. I didn't see all this until the second to last week we attended, otherwise I would not have allowed my 4 year old grandson to attend. He made the most of it because he has a very outgoing personality and he gravitated towards the counselors to feel 'safe' , but the complete and utter lack of structure or activities is not good for any kid. Kids need some boundaries and direction to follow. Otherwise, how can they know what to do? They just setup 'fake tables' in classrooms with toys or 'activities' and expect the 4/5/6 year old kids to know what to do...absurd! The last week we attended, we received a call that my grandson was 'not listening and going places he's not supposed to '..but you can't tell kids to do whatever they want, have no structure, then get upset when they 'do whatever they want'. They might have good intentions, but the place needs a lot of work and training to be a successful camp. I wouldn't recommend this camp.

My 9-year-old son is enjoying his fourth summer at Steve & Kate's and today my twin 4-year-old daughters attended for the first time. I can't say enough about how much we love this camp. Every counselor we talk to is warm and nurturing and my daughters LOVED their first day. At pickup they all commented on how great my son was with the girls and gave me little anecdotes about their day. We always enjoy talking to Andrew at the start of the summer and think he does a great job running this location. We are Steve & Kate fans all the way.
