Riverside Theatre Works, a nonprofit community theater in Hyde Park, runs multi-week summer musical theatre programs in which students rehearse and stage a full production with sets, costumes and lights. Summer 2026 offerings include Disney's Dare to Dream Jr. and High School Musical Jr. for ages 7-12, each three weeks, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm; a half-day Creative Drama & Music camp for ages 5-7 (9:00am-12:00pm); and an evening SIX: Teen Edition production for ages 13 and up. The Canner Family Scholarship provides need-based aid to students who live in or attend school in Hyde Park and surrounding communities.
