Mercedes and her team of young riders were absolutely welcoming and helped my 7 year old feel right at home on day 1. With summer camp season quickly approaching, we only had the opportunity of attending a handful of private lessons and my daughter cannot wait to get back there for the fall/winter riding sessions. Mercedes has done a great job training her riders at an age appropriate level (who have been going to the farm for years) to not just show up for a lesson and go home, but to understand and be accountable for taking care of their horses as part of the journey. Overall, great experience and will definitely be back.

The owner Mercedes did not deliver the actual length of class she first introduced. No confirm of payment receipt. The only prompt response I received was cancelling of all classes upon expressing conerns. Explicit differential treatment towards families. She provides us a one-eye blind pony among several healthy ones and claim it is the best for my child.

We booked a couple weeks at River Edge for our 14 year old who loves riding and caring for horses. I can't say enough wonderful things about this camp. My daughter loved the horses, the staff - even the food she raved about. She made new friends and every night at dinner involved stories about what she did, what she learned and how much she enjoyed the day. The safety protocols were excellent. Top to bottom a great program. My only regret is that we didn't book more time.
