Powered by GoogleJust did a trip here with my son’s third grade class and him and the kids really enjoyed themselves. They learned a lot from the staff who are very knowledgeable. And the kids have been quoting the staff after every activity and still are pointing out everything they’ve seen. I would definitely recommend it.
I wanted to leave a review though it’s been a few years. Came here with my 6th grade class and a few teachers and chaperones for an over-the-weekend stay. I was constantly engaged with my peers, the activities, and the outdoors, and barely noticed the staff or facilities. Except when I went in the wrong cabin during the night after a restroom trip. I was barely even concerned with being away from home. When I was there, there was canoeing, Hiking, navigating, and access to a rocky overlook. For the best experience, I suggest staying “unplugged”, and be familiar with all the outdoor noises.
We have been doing weekends here for the past six years and absolutely love all of the staff and the programming. Our daughter attended Sleepaway camp here for horseback riding and had the absolute time of her life. Our kids have attended many different camps over the years, but Fairview Lakes holds a very special place and is our daughter’s absolute favorite place to be. They’ve been extremely supportive with a whole host of issues. They’re environment where kids not only are safe, but where they grow and really thrive.
Hi, I was here for a 6th grade STOKES trip with LCJSMS. My counselors, Sophia and Luke, were super nice and had a great attitude. The food was ABSOLUTELY amazing and was very delicious. When we went to the huge campfire site, there were a lot of seats and the cabins are not that bad. In the cabin, there was one shower room, and four bathroom stalls. I loved how there was so many activities and I had a great time. The 6th graders and I came here in September. Also the staff is very nice.
I go here with friends and co-workers for the Women's Wellness Weekends they sponsor 2/3 times a year, in the "off-season". They offer many other family Weekend experiences. Of course they also have a fabulous summer camp for kids.
