Powered by GoogleI was just there with my son and my two good friends and their sons for the father son fall weekend. We all had such a great time, getting into the word of God as well as spending time with each other and exploring all there was to do at the campground from archery to 22 caliber rifle range shooting and one of the highlights was the dad hunt which was all the dads hunt and the kids get 30 minutes just before dark to try to find them. If they find them. They get the pocketful of candy that the dads are holding. The kids loved it and even us grown ups had it a great time! Don't hesitate to look into any of their weekends or activities. And to the camp. Thanks for a great first time visit. Great clean lodge, good food, great memories! We Will definitely be coming back for this event every year.
This is our second year for my 11 year old. It is pivotal for him at this age to participate in this camp. A Quality program that helps quide, support, teach and be an example for this age group and beyond. My son absolutely loved and it's quickly becoming a summer staple. Feel so blessed that he can be a part of this long standing camp. Beautiful area, plenty to do, lots of room to spread out. Truly coming here is an experience to remember
Camp Haycock is a welcoming environment full of fun activities and Godly staff. Great place to make fun memories and to grow in your faith. Also a great place to teach young guys how to serve others through mentoring or vocational skills while serving the camp.
My husband grew up as a camper at Haycock, participated in and later lead their Leadership Growth Program, and then became a staff member and even board member for a time! Our son recently attended mini-camp there which is designed for the youngest overnight campers to give them a sample of the full week experience. He was hooked! The very next week our son attended the final week of boys overnight camp at Haycock. He had a great time! He is already looking forward to being a camper next season!
The camp doesn't over coordinate your time here. They try to facilitate to your needs and allow you to choose what your experience will be like. Unbelievable service from mostly volunteers running the camp. They are very respectful and they actually do care which is so rare these days. Even in Christian based organizations. The volunteers at this camp could not be more deserving of God's blessings.
