Code Ninjas is a national kids' coding franchise; this is the Saddle Brook center. Week-long summer camps run Monday through Friday in half-day blocks — AM 9:00am–12:00pm or PM 12:30pm–3:30pm — and families can register for both and send a lunch to make a full day. Camp themes include Robotics, Roblox, Minecraft and YouTube, with kids building interactive games and programming robots. Programs serve ages 5–14, with Code Ninjas JR for ages 5–7 using a visual curriculum that requires no reading.

Found out two days in, that the teachers weren’t given the materials to do any STEM projects and instead were allowing the children to play Minecraft & Roblox and watch tv. Called to speak to a manager who will not return my call.

"Phil" was particularly awful. Be very careful about who you give your money to when looking after your kids. You can learn all of this online, and for free. Stay far away.

I discovered the charges and called them several times, they never returned my calls. I still can't believe that a supposedly reputable business, dealing with children, would actually do this. Beware.
★★★★★Sheetal DoctorMy son just finished his first week of online summer camp – the Harry Potter themed Game Builders camp using scratch programming. He loved it. He had a lot of fun building the games. The instructor was really nice and friendly and was able to keep the kids 100% focused and engaged for the entire time. That was a really awesome feat considering that it was a virtual class and it is easy for kids to get distracted. The projects were instructor led and challenged the kids but also allowed the kids to modify/customize them based on the kids comfort level. At the end of the class each day, it was fun for the kids to check out games coded by their fellow students. We will be continuing with more weeks of camp at Code Ninja! I highly recommend the programs!
