I absolutely love training with Julian! His drills are fun, challenging, and never repetitive. He does an amazing job mixing technique, strategy, and live play so you’re constantly improving without even realizing it. I’ve seen real improvement in my game when training with him, and he creates such a positive and welcoming environment on the court. On top of that, he’s just a genuinely great person who makes every session something to look forward to. Highly recommend!

Classes for older adults are fantastic! Lots of movement as well as stretching and balance! Would prefer getting towels off the counter, like previously, when checking in. Then we don’t have to wait for person to be free from helping others or not there. People behind counter are friendly and helpful. Bars to hold onto need to be in every shower stall so ladies that suffer with balance issues have something to hold onto. Courts are clean. Love the ice machine and filtered water!!

One of the highlights of my week is coming to Coach Julian’s tennis drills! I have taken drills with other facilities and he provides one of the best. I get to hit tons of balls and practice all the different strokes. Love his enthusiasm, positive attitude, and helpful demeanor. I really appreciate the variety of tennis games/drills to practice different strategies on the court. Love the fun and cardio at the same time!!!

I’ve been a member at Rio Del Oro since approx 2014 - at which time i was fed up with the poor conditions at the public park tennis crts. My experiences at Rio since I became a member have been mixed but definitely weigh on the positive side. I most appreciate clean, newly surfaced tennis crts with exceptional lighting. Note: There are currently many “dead” spots on the crts. I think Rio’s deck definitely needs attention and a massive remodel. The newly refurbished locker rooms are great. The newer BBQ area is also very nice - though I recommend Rio add shade sails to provide better shade than umbrellas. The staff at Rio are helpful and often carry a permanent cheer. There are, occasionally, some exceptions to this. Overall, Rio is doing a very good job and i’m happy to be a member.

Amazing!! My kid goes here for tennis Monday’s & Wednesday. Coach Julian, their staff and their program are top notch. My only small complaint would be that they have a lot of kids on 6 courts, but always enough coaches to make sure they get individual attention. The facility itself is very nice, new locker rooms & gym, that doesn’t hurt either. I highly recommend this place for all your tennis but especially if you have kids.
