This is one of my favorite places to spend time in the Asheville area! I love coming to a place where so many different demographics are coming together to better themselves and their community! The programming is fantastic and you get so few opportunities in our area to connect with people from different backgrounds and age groups. 💜

Awesome gym; however, it's become extremely annoying with classes giving other customers a hard time to work out at times we specifically need. It would be nice and respectful to implement an hour or more between class to make other use certain areas rather than hodge the areas for hours for classes. Seems like I have to be elderly, Caucasian, and with money to use specific rooms and stuff.

I really appreciate the EGym. Lifting weights is so easy with the presets for height and amount of weight that it's become a favorite workout program for me. The trainers are knowledgeable and kind. The indoor track is a real bonus. I also love the pool and water area. It's nice having hot tub, dry and wet saunas. Locker rooms are clean and nice, appreciate the swimsuit spinner, love the new lockers. This year I want to try some of the classes, maybe a water class, tai chi and yoga. The openness of the reception area is very inviting. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Thanks for all you do to make this my favorite Y in our area!

I am very impressed with the size and quality of Reuter's facilities. I normally use the Hendersonville Y, but there is construction which closed the restrooms and shower areas for six weeks. I have been using Reuter's pool for lap swimming and weight training. The pool has been crowded at times because the BCS pool is also closed. But I've been able to get my laps in without waiting long for a lane. The pool is a consistent 82 degrees and very clean. One observation is that a few swimmers use the lanes at Reuters for personal training. (I'm NOT referring to Masters Swim training.) Being in the same lane as these guys means you have to put up with a rude amount of splashing and turbulence which tests my equanimity. It is disruptive and inconsiderate to anyone who has to share a lane with them. This happens 2 out of 3 visits. Thankfully, we don't have this occur at the Hendersonville pool. Before I swim, I warm up in the fitness center, which is spacious and uncrowded. Lot's of cardio equipment, weights, weight machines and an EGym circuit. After the Hendo and BCS facilities are done, I will probably still use Reuters pool when it's convenient for my schedule.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this why. I came here as a national member and I visit many wise all around the country. Not only was this facility very big but it offered so many different things. The Rockwall seemed really cute and fun especially for the kids I would have loved to try it but it was pretty busy. The pool was open great hours and the water slide was super fun. All of their dance classes are actually amazing I've never been to a why before where all the dance instructors are amazing but every single instructor not only killed it but brought a ton of energy. The facility was clean and the staff was very friendly overall
