Definitely a must visit place for everyone of any age!! Only $10 per person which we felt was a great deal. All the staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable! There is so much to discover here that you will want to come back again. We didn't even get to walk to everywhere because there is so much to see and do. We brought our 14 year old daughter and our 7 year old nephew and they had a blast. So did my husband and I! There are four buildings to go through including the main building. There is a school house full of school history. A newer building with lots of items on display. Also there a solar run building but we did not go inside. The biggest building which is the main building had lots of things to touch and discover. All very interesting and educational. The kids got to hold a lizard and a snake. Also, they got to look at a couple of really big tortoises. There are also some fish and another snake to look at. Outside, there is a lot of different things to enjoy around the building like the gardens, the musical area, the whispering satellites, and an awesome garden kaleidoscope thet you control. You can find multiple hiking trails are around the property and are very beautiful. Takings them will lead to some very interesting places! It can be a very fun all day activity so I'd suggest bringing a little sack lunch with you. It looks like dogs are welcomed outside on the grounds but not in the building. Please pick up after yourself, this place is to nice to disrespect it. They also have very nice clean bathrooms inside the main building. Rain or shine stop in. You won't regret it! You don't need kids to have a great time here and learn something new.

Quite a bit to see in the main room, but very loud and requires reading for a lot of the display so may not be best suited for younger children unless they have a guide. Best part was interaction with the reptiles. Wish there was less time inside and more time outside to explore the grounds as we couldn't make it through everything *This was a school organized event

Such a great hidden gem! Tons of hands on activists for kids and adults. We’re able to hold a snake and bearded dragon, as well as feed some tortoises. Walked the trails to check out the treehouse and school, and drove through the ancient world exhibit. We will definitely return.

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her class field trip to Raven Hill at the end of the school year. The museum portion was full of hands on activities and items for the kids to touch and utilize to their hearts content. The reptiles and fish that were kept there looked to be well kept and in good health. The staff was knowledgeable on all of the different parts of the museum and they did a wonderful job educating the kids. My daughter loved the outdoor portion of the trip as well. I adored the one room schoolhouse and the treehouse in the woods. They were beautifully maintained and you can see the love that goes into those exhibits. Overall, it was a very nice experience for a young school group and I enjoyed the visit there.

What a hidden gem. This is an excellent hands on museum that explore science and nature. The interactive exhibits are well designed and taken care. There are several buildings and outdoor nature areas. You can also see some rescued reptiles. A little bit of a drive, but definitely worth exploring if you are young, or not so young.
