Theatre Raleigh ACT (formerly Raleigh Area Children's Theatre) is a children's theatre in northeast Raleigh, now merged with the professional nonprofit Theatre Raleigh, making it the area's only youth training program affiliated with a professional theatre. Summer and track-out camps serve ages 4-18 at beginner through experienced levels; each camp rehearses a production performed on the final Friday, with drama games, music, script work, choreography, character development and set and prop building along the way. A $75 non-refundable deposit reserves a spot, with the balance due the first day of camp.

I've been astounded by the budding and bloomed talent that abounds. The students are all challenged and have a strong work ethic instilled as well. My son has been in three of the shows. I have loved watching them. The kids are so well prepared and you can see the joy. The fantastic teachng and hard work pays off! Blair, Paula and Amanda are all pros! They really show kids how Broadway dreams are born. I just can't recommend it highly enough.
