Poplar Heights Recreation Association, a swim and tennis club
Private
Poplar Heights Recreation Association, a community swim and tennis club on Buckelew Drive in Falls Church, hosts weekly ProsToYou summer camps from late June through August. Days combine tennis coaching with recreational games such as knockout, pickleball, handball, capture the flag, ultimate frisbee and soccer, plus creative arts and free swim, with campers grouped by age at roughly 8:1 for younger groups. The full-day camp runs 8:30am-4:00pm for ages 5-12, with morning and afternoon half-day options for ages 4-12, a counselor-in-training track for ages 13-15, and a swim-team-compatible camp for club swim and dive families. Before care from 7:30am and after care to 6:00pm are sold weekly, and every camper takes a pool swim test on the first day of each week.

Powered by GoogleAt (about) $1,200 per household, it is at the high-end of costs. One DOES get used to the pool being heated (it is always at least 80 degrees)!! Beware: Swim meets take over the entire pool about 1/2 of the Saturday mornings. Beware2: The deep end of the pool is taken-over until noon on most Saturdays for 'floatie-swim' exercises. Beware3: Members can and do often bring 10 to 20 young guests to the pool. The tennis courts are lighted and are in good condition. The pickleball courts - aside from the tight one situated in the tennis practice area, are painted into the tennis courts.
Nice location. A little hidden gem! Cost for guests is a little steep but my son likes going there with his friends.
I have been a member for 25 to 30 years it is generally well managed
Nice pool! We have been on the waitlist to get into this pool for years! This year we finally got accepted and could join the pool. The whole pool area is very nice and the kids definitely have a lot of fun! The only thing that bothers me is the parking situation: there are definitely not enough parking spots!! And I definitely do not want to park on the grass!!
Amazing staff and very low-key
