I grew up in the area and you don't really miss something nice until you've moved away. The harbour was as beautiful as it was 40 years ago

We are full-time wedding and engagement photographers, and we had the pleasure of photographing a wedding reception at the Pequot Yacht Club on a May day with a wonderful couple. We arrived at the picturesque location after a church ceremony, and the newlyweds planned the most dramatic entrance via boat. It was spectacular even with dodging the raindrops. Firing off the cannon really got the crowd hyped under the tents. The beautiful brick buildings, boats, and water views are the complete package. Even having to stay under the decks we still took some wonderful shots. Everyone loved it all from what we could see, and the couple was very happy with the wedding and how the photos came out. Our thanks to the considerate and attentive staff, too! We hope to be back in the future to photograph more memorable weddings. Scott Kruitbosch @scottkruitbosch Noella Barone @photosbynoella

A very beautiful and scenic yacht club, the area is located close to a beach and there is a golf course on the opposite side of the club's waterway, and the access road to the club is the main street that runs infront of it. The club house is a beautiful two building old English cottage design, with carpark and floating dock with water and electrical supply.

Very nice place. We spent a night on a mooring. Easy to get on to the mooring. The launch service was great. Beautiful area. Quiet secluded harbor.
