Sailaway Sailing School runs a youth summer sailing camp for boys and girls ages 10–15 at Captain's Cove Seaport in Bridgeport's Black Rock Harbor. Campers learn water safety, boat rigging, wind awareness, points of sail, tacking and jibing, and capsize recovery, starting on small sailboats with certified instructors and spending most of their time on the water. The program is run by the Connecticut Yankee Council.
