I use several of the YMCAs on the Eastern shore and this one has the worst upkeep. I will say the front desk staff are delightful and helpful. There is a very good selection of equipment. But it’s in desperate need of remodeling and it needs much more attention to detail regarding cleaning. The edges of all the floors are grimy. The locker room needs work. There is dust between the machines because only the outside is vacuumed. The walls need more attention. Sinks need a good scrubbing. And one of the cleaning ladies is more often seen sitting than cleaning. Can’t these issues be remedied?

After an internal investigation, specific corrective actions were promised regarding a staff member’s conduct regarding my child. Months later, those actions have not occurred, and I am seeking transparency and accountability. I will not give up until this is resolved internally or not.

Such nice workers!! From the daycare to the pool and the front desk!! Great location, nice pool and two big rooms with gym equipment
