Powered by GoogleQuiet Waters Park is an absolute gem! The paved trails are perfect for a peaceful walk or bike ride through the woods. You can rent kayaks, relax by the scenic fountain, or take your dogs to the dog beach. Go see it now!
Certainly worth the visit if you have an hour or two to walk. It is worth checking out the visitors center, though more importantly, the botanical gardens and sculpture garden beside it. Walking down to the water was doable, but the paths we found were somewhat short. These grounds are eerily peaceful, and I use the words specifically. I don’t have a calling to revisit, but would casually recommend. Thanks
This park was a great stop on our trip! The paths were paved and well maintained. The park felt spacious so even though we saw lots of other visitors, it didn’t feel crowded. Nice touches were the crayon rubbing stations for children and the beach area for dogs. Highly recommend!
Amazing place to relax and have fun! Quiet Water Park really lives up to its name — peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The water attractions are great for both kids and adults, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of shaded areas to rest, and everything feels very safe and well organized. A perfect spot for a relaxing family day out. Highly recommended!
Quiet Waters Park truly lives up to its name. The atmosphere was calm and serene, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The South River overlook was absolutely breathtaking at sunset — watching the sun dip into the horizon while listening to gentle waves crashing against the shore felt magical. On the day of our visit, the park was filled with happy dogs, and amazingly not one of them barked — it added to the peaceful vibe. I also appreciated how thoughtfully the park is laid out, with restrooms conveniently located throughout. If you’re looking for a place to recharge, enjoy nature, and take in a stunning sunset, this park is a hidden gem. We’ll definitely be coming back.
