The Parker Recreation Center is operated by the Town of Parker's Parks and Recreation department, whose summer day camp runs weekdays 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the nearby Parker Fieldhouse for ages 5 to 13 (5-year-olds must have completed kindergarten). Campers are split into 5-6, 7-9 and 10-13 groups for themed games, activities, crafts and field trips. A separate Kids Day Out camp takes ages 9 to 14 on daily off-site field trips through the summer. Enrollment is open to the public with per-day rates and discounted resident pricing; field trip days cost extra.

★★★JamieThe poolside rock wall is GREAT for building your skills and there’s at least one V8 route. But, they do have staffing and consistency issues with their pool/climbing hours which makes coming here before OR after work extremely inconvenient for me. I’ve been told misleading information over the phone about their hours multiple times and it is extremely disappointing when I call to confirm, then get ready for my workout just to get turned around. Their biggest room for improvement is more accommodation and time for climbers! Staff has always been friendly but this has been a big disappointment to me time and time again.

I wish to get all these options else where in Parker. Someday scan does not work, other day payments. One day they could not find my kid name in my account to check in. BUT without fail, everytime we visit, we’ve almost always had a negative interaction with the front desk staff (specifically with a man named Art). Every other week when we have our son, we bring him to the Kids Zone (2-3 times) so that my wife & I can workout. Every single time we do a ‘drop in’ we’re told something different & look like complete idiots by staff. The front desk staff is HIGHLY undertrained & have no communication regarding kids zone, nor what is going on in this facility in general. After multiple times of being told the wrong information, my wife walked in tonight and informed Art, “we wanted to do like a drop in at the kid zone?”. Art felt the need to immediately correct & make a snotty remark to my wife - “what do you mean LIKE the kid zone? You mean THE kid zone?”. Once again, told us the wrong information. I highly reccomend Parker Parks & Rec make an immediate change to the ENTIRE front desk staff at this facility as far as training, clarity & staff. The attitude my family & others have experienced is highly unacceptable. I’ve worked in this exact field & this service is incredibly unacceptable.
