The Northglenn Recreation Center runs the City of Northglenn's School Age Day Camp for ages 6 to 11, operating June 1 through August 7 from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Campers take multiple field trips each week exploring Colorado attractions and swim at the recreation center between outings. Registration is open to non-residents as well as Northglenn residents, and the center also runs a preschool for ages 3-5 and other youth and teen programs.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Northglenn Recreation Center directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleThis is probably one of my all time favorite places to go. Because of the kindness and caring make nature of the people working here, not only have a thrived physically but also personally. I'm very fortunate to have such amazing people so close by!
The amenities are great however the inconsistency in staffing is disappointing. To have a little one, who is 48 inches PER THE DOCTOR, be able to pass any swim team you give you be told she can go down a slide by one lifeguard and then no, 30 minutes later. Disappointing
We went here for my nephew's birthday. My niece reserved one of the party rooms for her son's birthday. The people running the rec center were very friendly and helpful. Everyone had a great time and the room was a good size for the amount of people that came to the party. In total there is probably 30 people. There was still plenty of room to move around. The only issue we had was not being able to turn up the heat. The room was a bit on the cool side. We tried to turn up the heat but we thought it must be on a system that doesn't allow you to adjust the heat in the individual rooms.
Love the new facility, clean and nice. Friendly staff up at the front desk for my daughters basketball camp. Only 4 stars because we went swimming there after the camp and the lifeguards are far from friendly, seem like they hate there jobs....oh except for the 1 lifeguard that was tossing a football from outside the pool from one end to the other instead of paying attention to swimmers. He seems like he was enjoying himself. Pretty sloppy in my opinion.
The building is small inside, but pleasant. Cozy. Everyone has been friendly and all smiles, and when using the weights, I've regularly seen staff cleaning the equipment and surrounding areas. This place is by-the-book as it gets, in a very professional, caring way. I recommend.
