Powered by GoogleOur son has been attending One River for 3+ years (both classes and camps) and truly loves it. The teachers are positive and encouraging, and the range of mediums offered (drawing, painting, sculpture, cartooning, graphic design) keeps things fresh and interesting for him. We’ve seen his skills, technique, and confidence grow. I especially appreciate that they work on projects over several weeks so the kids can really develop their ideas and create something they’re proud of. We love attending the receptions a few times throughout the year where the students can showcase their work. The director is proactive in getting feedback from the families that attend classes and very accommodating. When one class felt a bit noisy for our son, she happily moved him into a quieter one that suited him better. That meant a lot to us. One River is true gem in our community and we feel very lucky to have found this place. Highly recommend!
My daughter took six classes this summer at One River and she had an incredible experience here. She was amazed by the instructors’ talent, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm for teaching. Their passion for art was contagious, and it really inspired her to dive in and try new techniques with confidence. She came home every day excited to share what she had learned, from new skills to creative ways of expressing herself. I was truly impressed by how supportive and encouraging the instructors were—they made the camp both educational and inspiring. One River exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a summer camp that sparks creativity and builds lasting skills.
My daughter's experience at the One RiverArtschool has been incredibly rewarding and transformative. The instructors are not only highly skilled artists but also passionate educators who nurture creativity and encourage individuality. The curriculum is well-designed, offering a variety of mediums and techniques that keep students engaged and excited to learn. The school environment is welcoming and supportive, providing a space where my daughter feels inspired and valued. Her confidence in her artistic abilities has grown tremendously, and she looks forward to each class with enthusiasm. I highly recommend this art school to any parent seeking a nurturing and dynamic artistic education for their child.
I absolutely LOVE One River! I've been going for years and the classes are fun and interesting... and I've learned a lot about different mediums and techniques along the way. Their teachers are all excellent, providing a solid foundation for learning in a way that's supportive, playful, and engaging. And, as a bonus, all the art supplies are included, so you don't have to schlep a bunch of materials to classes, as you'd do in most other schools. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
My daughter (age 5) has been attending classes at One River Art School since January 2022 and she loves it! The instructors are warm and welcoming. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate and she is learning so many art skills (not making crafts). She has really grown and gained confidence this year. She attended two of the one week summer camps (One Artwork a day and Underwater watercolors) and had a blast! I would highly recommend this art program.
