Old Cove Yacht Club is a not-for-profit sailing association on the North Fork at 1400 Old Harbor Road, New Suffolk, running a Junior Sailing Program for children and teens ages 5-18 at all ability levels, from first-timers to experienced racers. Students sail Optimists, C420s and Lasers using the club's boats, and the club states its mission is to provide access to sailing and instruction to the general public at affordable rates. Two sessions run in 2026: June 29-July 24 and July 27-August 21. Scholarships are offered, and the club is an association of over 130 families that has been part of New Suffolk for more than 70 years.
