North Shore Yacht Club is a membership club on the Lake Michigan shore in Highland Park, operating since 1933, with sailing, kayaking, power boating and stand-up paddling. Its Junior Sailing Camp is aimed at swimmers ages 6 to 16 who have little or no sailing experience, alongside advanced beginners looking to sharpen skills or learn to race, and is led by a certified sailing instructor who teaches the basics while building confidence on the water. Enrollment is open to children and relatives of members and, on a limited basis, to non-members; the club's classes are taught by US Sailing and ACA certified instructors.

I've been able to get some pretty nice photos of the lake on days when the waves are rough, or when most folks dont want to be near the lake. I have not been around the facility when the season is at peak, I'm assuming it can get pretty busy down there.
