Community Sailing School @ Pistakee is a nonprofit sailing school on the Chain O'Lakes in Johnsburg that runs week-long Beginner and Advanced Sailing Camps, Monday through Friday 9:00-4:00, on the protected waters of Pistakee Lake. Classes start at age 4 with evening KinderSail and continue with weekday youth sailing for beginner through advanced sailors ages 8 and up; Unlimited Sailing Camp options cover 5 or 10 weeks for families who want the whole summer. The school also runs an Inclusive Sailing Program for sailors with disabilities on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday sessions, a one-day Sailing + STEM class, and stand-up paddleboarding. Scholarships for economically challenged families are funded through its Cortney's Sailing Corner initiative.
