North Denver Rush operates as Colorado Rush North, the Thornton and Northglenn branch of Colorado Rush, a 501(c)(3) youth soccer club. Its own branch page lists recreational play from U2-U4 Soccer Stars through U5-U8 and U9-U19 recreational, plus Youth, Junior and Senior Academy competitive tracks up to U19 with full-time and part-time licensed coaching staff. The North branch's seasonal programming page lists winter training only; the club's summer camps are listed under its Lakewood/Littleton and Colorado Springs branches rather than North.

Our 13 year old son tried out for another team and mentioned he may be accepted and the Rush coach (Coach Alfonso) took this to mean he was leaving the team! He cut our son and never notified us or anything. I contacted him asking about jerseys and he said "Oh sorry I though your son was playing for a different team- we no longer have space for him". We then missed the deadline to get on another team and we lost a full season. UNPROFESSIONAL to the core.*After reading Brian Bernhards review of the same thing happening it seems like this is standard practice. Pretty disappointing to have a great season and then have to explain to your son that the one thing he really loves doing is off the table for the foreseable future. I can't stress enough how dissapointed I am in Rush.

Both of my kids play for North Denver Rush and I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about this organization!! Not only have my boys grown leaps and bounds in the sport, but the coaches also teach respect and positive sportsmanship from the very beginning. Their teams and coaches are like a family and I am SO happy that we have found a club like this one!

Our son has been with North Denver Rush for three-going-on-four years now. He started in the Developmental, then moved up to Academy. NDR is like a very big family across its programs (developmental, recreation, competitive) and we really enjoy the coaches' philosophies and approach to teaching and developing the players. Highly recommended!

Great skills training and player development. Coaching for overall development. My son has been playing soccer for close to 4 years. At that time, he did not even know how to kick the ball correctly. He was a late starter because of his health conditions. Thereafter, it has been a journey and ND Rush has helped him through this journey. Technical Director - Alfonso Romero and Coach Jennifer Bayliss have helped my son develop as a player and while that continues he is being helped with becoming an athlete because that is what he is lacking. A perfect place and environment for a kid to develop and learn.

My kids have played for Rush for two years. They have had a great experience. Rheyve made several friends and they love seeing their friends on various fields on game day. The new director has a great vision and is focused on player development; not just winning. The coaching staff are all professionally trained and certified - even the volunteer coaches. GREAT place to play and be part of a club.
