United Soccer Club, the Loveland-based nonprofit also known as Thompson Soccer Association, runs half-day summer soccer camps at Loveland Sports Park from 9:00am to 12:00pm for $125 per camper. Camps serve players of all skill levels ages 6-19: younger campers work on ball control, dribbling, passing, receiving and basic striking, while players 13 and up progress to dribbling under pressure, complex passing patterns, first touch in tight spaces and individual defending. A goalkeeper track covers shot-stopping, handling, footwork, positioning and commanding the area. The club also offers year-round futsal, winter turf training and a recreational summer 5v5 league.
