A newer, modern rec center with the usual areas plus a field house which is an indoor soccer field (it can also be an ice rink, hockey rink, but it looks like they don't set up for that in the winter). One oddity, while the equipment is the latest and greatest, the only scale they have is the old rocker arm type that only boomers will know how to use. Seems like they could afford a digital scale that would include metric. Speaking of cost, this center has the lowest annual price of anywhere I have been on the Front Range. About 50 cents a day for geezers.

Really cool Rec Center! Very new and shiny. We visited the pool and we loved it! My one issue is the air conditioning is blasting down the hallway from the locker rooms/showers to the pool and makes for quite the chilly walk! Especially if you have little kids with you. I also didn't love the big fan above the pool. I get they need it but if you're not actively in the water, (like in the kid area - standing and splashing) it gets a little chilly.

It is a great facility very clean, well maintained, and family friendly. The soccer field is excellent and perfect for practices or games. Overall, a nice place for sports and community activities.

I like this rec center and have been working out here for over a year. I was not thrilled with the membership increases. $51/mo. for my husband and I, up from $42. However, I chose South East Rec because I love the pool and indoor track. The track is not flat, it has inclines and declines. When walking/running outside isn't an option its nice to be able to get in a good walk/run without weather limitations. The weights area could use some expansion. When it gets busy it is difficult to work in due to lack of availability of weights and machines. I tend to go earlier or later in the day to avoid these problems.

This rec center is incredible and just about perfect in terms of amenities. Our family calls this place, “if Equinox owned the YMCA”. It has a high end feel and you can tell it’s nearly brand new. Drop in visits are only 5 bucks and they have very inexpensive memberships. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They have a very large fully equipped gym with any kind of fitness equipment you can think of, pickleball/basketball court, a pool with a kids area and a slide, a hot tub and a lazy river, an indoor field, fitness classes, an outdoor and indoor stretch turf, and a figure 8 walking track. Not to mention a private room for events, lounge area and family changing rooms! They even have a little rowing and yoga area upstairs with mats. The cherry on top is the mountain view from the glass paned walls. Stunning. Needless to say, I’m obsessed with this place. Highly recommend visiting and treating yourself! My only feedback is that it would be nice to have some additional 2.5 lb dumbbells and lower weight kettlebells to use… but that’s an inexpensive and easy fix.
